What's wrong with my USB SanDisk Cruzer?
I plug it into my laptop it doesn't show up that I plugged it in to the port and same goes for my desktop computer. I made sure it was all the way in and I restarted the desktop computer. I even checked for dust in the USB ports and drive. Is there anyway to fix this. I use it for everything and I don't have a backup.
Most problems with USB thumb drives is that folks pull them out without going through the 'safely remove hardware' that takes about 3 seconds.
Go to the unit manufacturer site and see if they have a format utility that will restore the basic functions. You might ( probably will ) loose your data but the thumb drive will work again.
