Slr Backpack
Comments (0) when i look trough my 35mm slr i see back...HELP!!? So i have had this camera for about a year and a half and it has been working great. the last time i used it was in seattle and then flew back (i had to check it which was probably a bad idea cause i didn't have enough room in my backpack.... but i did put it in my suitcase). So today i loaded film and went to take a picture but all i see is black. So i took the film out to see what would happen. Nothing. WHY AM I SEEING BLACK?!?! I love this camera and i don't want to have to get a new one. Please Help. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH THAT WORKED. i thought when i looked at it something was missing and that was the mirror. Thank you again. Check to see if the mirror is locked in the "up" position. That would block the view through the lens. Try removing the lens to see if you see light through the viewfinder....it's possible the diaphragm in the lens may be stopped right down or damaged by over-enthusiastic baggage handlers.
