New to Sony Vegas 8: How do you make the flash effect with Sony Vegas 8?
Alright, i've noticed that you can do a TON of things with Sony Vegas 8 and so far have been able to figure out the more "advanced" stuff, but I haven't been able to figure out how to make flashes or fades?
Help?
Also, some say that Sony Vegas 8 isn't that good, but I disagree. Its complex and works perfectly 
Sony Vegas is a grate application for people who want to edit normal videos or the videos whit low level of effects so don't worry. you can also use this program as a professional editing software but the only thing you need is a little bit more experience.
anyway lets get to your problem on how to creating a flash effect.
a flash is just a brightness that comes to a few number of your frames. if you just want to make the flash between 2 event it's really easy just crate a flash transition, but if you want to create this effect in the middle of an event you need to know about keyframes at first so if you don't know use Sony Vegas help (it's perfect). add a brightness and contrast effect and use keyframes to heighten the brightness on a few number of the event. an other way to create this effect is to right clicking on the empty area of video track and then go to insertremove envelope>fade to color and then you can see a red line on your track. double clicking on any part of the track create key frames for you. left clicking on the key frames allow you to define the type of keyframe.
