shoot a video (mov format or quicktime movie) & a still photo (jpeg image)of a birthday party with a same dig?

I shoot a video (mov format or quicktime movie) & a still photo (jpeg image)of a birthday party with a same digital camera.
But when I copy the video in a VCD, the disc is running but cant' view the video. Please help me how to convert the MOV format of this video into correct video format & view in the TV.

you need a software to convert mov.format in to avi. format .this software is divx converter. good luck !
