Only Black
Why am I only getting black and white TV reception after installing a digital converter?
I just installed a digital converter for my basement television, and I'm getting only black and white. The reception is middling because of the location, and the antenna is not that good. But I'm not getting a lot of flickering, just black and white. Any ideas?
Have you turned the converter on?
Are you using the RF out of the converter to connect the box to the antenna in of the tv? If so, is your TV on channel 3 while the box is set for channel 4? Is it the other way around?
Are you using the 3 red,white and yellow RCA Jacks to connect the tv to the box? If so, do you have teh set switched to video in 1 while your using the connectors for video in 2? Is it the other way around?
Is it a black and white TV?
