Nylon Dslr
What do you call the material underneath camera neck straps to prevents slippage?
I want to know, with nylon camera straps (like the ones that come free when you buy a new Canon or Nikon DSLR)), what do you call that material that's stitched in the middle of the nylon webbing? It's the one that prevents the strap from slipping.
A friend said it's nylon but I don't think it is. Help? 
I have noticed/remember a few option regarding this. Some straps that are just the nylon, some that have a thin rubber like coating, just not certain if it is rubber and last a then cloth like material that has a rugged velvet like finish that is slip resistant.
