Kodak EasyShare MD41 problem ?
Okay so . . . I downloaded the Easyshare software and whatnot, and have had not many problems uploading .
However, when I connected and am trying to upload my most recent photos, over 95% of the photos are replaced with a gray thumbnail broken in two . . . but when I look at the photos on the camera itself, I can see them perfectly fine . The strange thing is, before, some pictures I've taken were changed to "Unrecognized file format" .
What can I do ?
And also, why can't I just transfer the photos normally from the Windows importing thing ? I didn't use any software for my old Easyshare software and simply did that . . .
sounds to me like your memory card has errors, adn the files are corrupt.
Try this
invest in a USB Card Reader (available at walmart, bestbuy, amazon etc...) for about $15
Plug the card reader into your USB Port on your computer.
Remove memory card from your camera, and insert into the Card reader.
Follow instructions from the card reader to open your memory card.
Find pictures and copy them directly to your computer's hard drive.
This will eliminate any problems that you might have with plugging the camera directly into your computer, and using the camera specific software.
