What would a good book for beginning digital photography?

I try to take digital photography in the fall, and have already bought a digital SLR. I'd like to read a book thats suitable for a novice photographer. Maybe something gives me ideas and inspiration, and proper technique, etc. .. Thanks for all your help = D

I learned about a book called "Kiss Photography. At least that's what I used in my photography class early. It is suitable for SLR, but at least you can learn more about Apertrure, shutter spead, focusing so they came with a digital-called "KISS Guide to Photography Digital (KISS Guides) (Paperback). This probably helps too. Also, be sure to use your User Guide for the camera, as it offers many specific things for the camera.
