What light should I buy for the following beauty dish/light stand?

A friend gave me the following products for a very discounted price:

Pretty much any hot shoe flash will work. You aren't limited to Canon brand when using it off camera.

I would get something with a fair amount of power as any modifier is going to eat some light and you do NOT want to have to use full power all the time...you'll go through batteries like crazy.

I have a homemade beauty dish and it works well with my 430ex. I would rather have a 580exII but my wallet says no for now.

On a side note, when you do find one, go ahead and get you some rechargeable batteries. They are worth every penny and if you're like me you will be testing your new setup a good bit.
