I'm looking for information on what filters and lenses to buy for my new camera.?
Hello. I'm buying a Canon Power Shot S2 IS. I'm wondering what the user rating is on this product. Does it have a good reputation? I'm also wanting to buy some filters and extra lenses for it..like wide angle, telephoto, fisheye etc. I don't know what to get that's a good rule of thumb to have. I don't know what to go with as far as the best power of lenses to get. Also, I wonder what filters do and which are the best to get. I'd also like to know if anyone has experience with after-market accessories versus genuine Canon products because they're a lot cheaper and some have a lifetime warranty with established companies. I hope someone can help. Thanks!
For filters you should look for:
polarizing filter
neutral density
graduated neutral density
you might not be able to find them but these are must haves for serious photographers. I suggest that you check out http://www.bhphotovideo.com -- if they dont have it, it's probably not available.
